Home to school transport

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information regarding home to school transport for the financial year 2025 (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, or the equivalent calendar year so far)
1. Total expenditure on home to school transport (HTST), including all modes (taxis, minibuses, buses, escorts, etc.).
2. Breakdown of HTST expenditure specifically on taxi and private hire vehicle contracts, including:
• Number of taxi contracts.
• Total amount paid to taxi/private hire operators.
3. Number of pupils transported by taxi (with and without escorts).
4. Any overspend or budget variance for HTST taxi costs compared to the allocated budget.
