I am interested in collecting information on local authorities’ revenue expenditure and financing data since the early 2000s. I am aware that these data are publicly available on the UK government website starting from the financial year 2007/08, but I would be interested in accessing data for earlier years.
1. Specifically, under the FOI legislation, I seek local authorities’ revenue expenditure and financing data data broken down by standard categories (education, housing, police, roads, health services, etc.) for the period spanning the financial years 1999/2000 to 2006/2007.

We no longer hold data from the periods requested; however, we can provide you with the statement of accounts documents for the years 2001/02-2006/07 (2000/01 is within 2001/02 as the comparison year, and 2002/03 can be found in the 2003/04 document as the comparison year).
