Car park fee increases

1. Please provide all documents, reports, and meeting minutes relating to decisions on car park fee increases between 2023 and 2025, including economic impact assessments and consultation responses.
In 2023, parking charges were increased for the first time since 2018. A report went to the Executive on 29/09/22 outlining the proposed increases in parking charges which were approved in 2023 and changes were implemented across the charging car parks which came into effect July 23. Parking charges have since been increased in line with inflation and have been approved as part of the budget-setting process when considering fees and charges.
The reports presented to Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Executive are available to view on the councils website.
