This is an information request regarding the number of Mental Health therapists in LA-maintained primary, secondary and special/PRU schools. Please include the following information for the following years 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25:
1. Total number of mental health therapists employed each year.
There are no mental health therapists centrally employed by Wokingham Borough Council. If they are employed by the school, you can approach them for this information directly.
2. If possible please provide a breakdown for each year:
o Pay bands and accompanying pay scales
o Job titles

By mental health therapist, I mean counsellors, child or adolescent psychotherapists, mental health practitioners, emotional wellbeing practitioners, therapeutic workers recruited to support pupils with mental health needs, plus anyone else that is specifically employed to work with children with mental health issues.
By mental health, I mean any personnel that is hired to deal with/ work with children diagnosed with anxiety, depression, adhd or any child labelled as having a mental health related reason
