1. I would like a copy of the Approved Business Case for The North Wokingham Distributor Road, for the avoidance of doubt this is a copy of the approved 5 model business case for the NWDR.
2. I would like a copy of the Approved Business Case for The South Wokingham Distributor Road, for the avoidance of doubt this is a copy of the approved 5 model business case for the SWDR.
We do not have business cases in the format that has been requested.
Wokingham Borough Council is required to provide new housing as part of its Local Plan which is a statutory requirement. The housing number is set by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) which sets out the standard methodology for calculating local housing need. The Local Plan allocations ensures that new housing is planned and accompanied by the necessary infrastructure and services to support population growth in the local area.
Both of these roads were identified in the WBC local plan (https://www.wokingham.gov.uk/planning-policy/adopted-development-plan/local-plans) as being needed in order to deliver the North Wokingham Strategic Development Location and South Wokingham Strategic Development Location. Specific references in the local plan as follows.
Policy CP20 – North Wokingham Strategic Development Location
Policy CP21 – South Wokingham Strategic Development Location
The local plan went through independent examination in 2008 with hearings in 2009 and then full council approval and adoption in 2010. Each of the schemes then went on to get full planning approval. NWDR (WOFR – ref 190198 ) and SWDR (ref: 192928)

3. I would like a copy of the declarations of hospitality over the cost of £25, that have been accepted by members of Wokingham Borough council which have been offer by Balfour Beatty, or its subcontractors (who have been employed on the North and South distributor road over the last 24 months). This includes, meals, functions with partners, sporting events, seminars, celebratory events or any other generalised offer over that sum.
