1. When were the last 5 people in band 1 housed into a 3 bedroom property and how long did they wait?
We have looked at how long they waited from being placed into Band 1 rather than how long they may have been on the housing register for:

27/08/2025 – 1 month
27/08/2025 – 5 months

2. When were the last 5 people in band 2 housed into a 3 bedroom property and how long did they wait?

3. When were the last 5 people in band 3 housed into a 3 bedroom property and how long did they wait?
We have looked at how long they waited from being placed into Band 3 rather than how long they may have been on the housing register for:
30/07/2024 – 2 months
Prior to this there have been no other applicants since 2023 that have been in Band 3 and housed into a 3 bedroom property

4. How many 3 bedroom houses are waiting to be allocated?
There are currently 4 three bedroom houses that have not been allocated, nominations have not been requested due to currently undergoing void works

5. Can applicants in bands 1 select areas or do they have to have all areas selected for rehousing?
All applicants in Bands 1 and Band 2 are selected for all areas of the borough; housing offers made to applicants in Band One and Two are not required to be within an area of choice although in exceptional circumstances, the Council may take into account areas of choice. Applicants will be asked to state any area where they believe they cannot live due to fear of violence, harassment, or domestic abuse. The Council will then consider the facts and decide whether the applicant will be allowed to restrict those areas.
