I request disclosure of the following:
1. Copies of any reports, safeguarding reviews, assessments, or external advice relied upon by Wokingham Borough Council in deciding to withdraw all pupils from Queensmead House School.
2. Any correspondence with Ofsted, the Department for Education, or other agencies relating to safeguarding concerns at Queensmead House School.
3. Minutes of meetings or decision-making documents where this action was discussed.
Please find attached the information in relation to this matter that Wokingham Borough Council are able to disclose.
There is other information held by the Council but is exempt from disclosure. There is information which has been provided in confidence so is exempt under Section 40. This has been clearly marked as confidential by the party supplying and a warning not to share outside of the parties receiving it.
There is information which is exempt from disclosure under Section 30 and/or 31 which at this time is not able to be determined which is applicable.
The Authorised Officer has also deemed that briefing documents in relation to this matter are exempt under Section 36. These contain confidential material which can have legal professional privilege and officer recommendations, used to inform senior leadership team of matters that are taking place.
