Wheelchair accessible housing

I am writing to request the following information for your local authority area.
1. How many households are currently waiting for wheelchair accessible social housing?
As of 18/08/2025 there are 10 households we are aware of waiting but this is only based on those with a medical priority award. As this is not a mandatory question when applying to join the housing register if a household without a medical priority band needed wheelchair accessible housing we would not be aware so this will not be the full picture.
2. How many wheelchair accessible homes are there in the existing social housing stock, occupied or otherwise.
We currently do not list if a property is easily accessible/wheelchair accessible. We note if there is adaptations but this would not be an indication that it is wheelchair accessible.
