1. I’m hoping to find out the number of children who were withdrawn from formal education for the purposes of elective home education (EHE) who either had an EHCP or were awaiting the outcome of an EHCP needs assessment at the time of deregistration.
The number of children with an EHCP added to the Wokingham EHE database:
o 1st January - 31st December 2020: 9
o 1st January - 31st December 2021: 5
o 1st January - 31st December 2022: 3
o 1st January - 31st December 2023: 8
o 1st January - 31st December 2024: 11
Unfortunately, we do not record any children who were awaiting the outcome of an EHCP assessment at the time they are added to the EHE database
