Funded hours available year-round

Funded hours don't have to be used only in term time. Some nurseries and pre schools are already offering the funded childcare hours all year round. Others are thinking about doing this in the future. For example, if a child goes to nursery for 50 weeks in a year, they might get about 22 hours each week. 

Each nursery or childcare provider can choose how they offer the funded hours. They can also decide which hours they offer, as long as they give families the full amount of hours over the year.
