There is no specific internal guidance. Smoke nuisance from bonfires is covered under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and is investigated the same as all 10 statutory nuisances, noise, light, smoke etc. The attached information sheet is both given to residents and used as an officers guide.
5. Please provide a copy of any reports or guidance produced by your council relating to the local implementation of the Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards)(England) Regulations 2020 from 1 May 2021.
