I would like to request the following information please, if possible.

1. What was the annual percentage pay award for council staff (pay grades 6-10) for each of the years 2008 to 2020 inclusive? (E.g. 1%, 0% etc.)

2. Were there any other adjustments, e.g. increased pension contributions, NI changes etc. affecting council staff? If so, please will you specify?
In 2016 the contracted out national insurance rate stopped. Any staff member paying into the local government pension scheme saw their employee national insurance contribution increase from 10.6% (NI employee rate D) to 12% (Ni employee rate A).
