I’d like to request the following information please:
1. Do you currently use any form of electronic signing tool?
DocuSign is used in the legal department.
2. If yes, who is your current provider? When does the contract expire? How much does it cost per year? How many licences (users or transactions) do you have?

3. How many documents do you send for signature / approval annually? What % are printed?
We do not hold this information.
4. Are your signing processes primarily paper-based?
We do not hold this information.
5. What is your current annual spend on paper, postage and document storage?
We do not hold this information. Each area is responsible for their own area and there is a general office use budget which covers multiple items, not just the above so we aren’t able to provide a figure.
6. Do you currently have any active projects or initiatives aimed at reducing the amount of paper-based processes?
We do look at this within the service areas we work with but is not as a specific project or initiative as such.
7. If so, who is leading it?
This would fall under the remit of Sally Watkins, Assistant Director Digital and Design.
8. How much employee time is it taking to create, send, chase and store documents that require signature?
We do not hold this information.
9. How many employees do you have?
Approx. 1500.
10. What percentage of employees work remotely?
Nearly all employees have the ability to work remotely. Dependent on role and work. Over 90% of the workforce could work remotely, however, there are periods where they may be required in the office. More individuals were able to work remotely during the Coronvirus pandemic as sites were closed to members of the public so didn’t need to be manned as usual.
