I had a visit from your planning department. The visit was in response to a complaint the office received re my conservatory which has planning permission.

1. I would politely request to see / be sent a copy of the complaint letter.

We do not hold a complaint letter/email in relation to this. Allegations about breaches of planning control are usually made via the Council’s website. When the Council receive reports of concern then we need to check to make sure that there hasn't been a breach of planning law and that it is compliant with the planning application.

Individuals who complain and/or make referrals to the Council expect that the information they provide is confidential and not disclosed to the party that they are contacting us about or to other individuals. Therefore Section 41 (Information provided in confidence) and Section 40 (Personal Data) are applicable as supplying information in regards to this contact would identify the individual.
