Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting the following recorded information held by Wokingham Council, specifically relating to adult social care provider fee uplifts for the 2025/26 financial year:
Collaboration on ERNIC Policy
1. Please provide any:
• Emails, meeting minutes, or briefings that confirm collaboration between your council and other South East local authorities regarding the decision not to pass on Employer National Insurance Contribution (ERNIC) increases to adult social care providers: The fee uplifts was decided by the Council and based on many factors including consideration of the ENIC increases
• Records of regional meetings (e.g., South East ADASS, South East 7, or County Councils Network) where this policy was agreed, discussed, or aligned upon: This is not WBC's information to share, therefore, please contact the relevant organisation for the minutes
• Any communications received from Kent County Council or any 17 Councils within the South East confirming or discussing this joint position, as referenced in a verbal statement made by Kent officers: As point 1 above
