I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please provide the following details related to Elective Home Education (EHE) within your local authority:
1. Staffing
• The number of staff members working only within the Elective Home Education (EHE) department None
• The name of the department that handles EHE in your local authority: Education Welfare Service
• The job title of the lead person in the EHE department: Education Officer
• The contact details (name, email and phone number) of the lead person in the EHE department: See question 5 for contact information
2. EHE Student Numbers
• The number of children known to your authority as being electively home educated for each of the last five years (yearly breakdown).

3. Notices Issued Under Section 437(1) of the Education Act 1996

• Confirmation of whether these contact details have changed within the last five years and, if so, the dates of any updates: Team was located at Alder Grove Primary School, Shinfield, until March 2020 when the office was closed due to Covid-19. Primary base has been at Shute End offices since then.
