Funding for community groups
How to apply for financial support for your organisation
Before applying for funding, think carefully about how much money you want to bid for, and how you'd use the money. Visit the Gov.uk website for tips about funding. You can also visit the Government funding website which gives details of funding available from the government for voluntary and community groups.
Council funding for children and young people
Funding for children and young people can be found on the grants and finance page. Funding opportunities are also available for children’s centre's activities. If you're interested in delivering a service in your local children's centre contact one of the Children's Centre Managers.
Involve can help organisations that are looking for funding whether it is additional funding, new funding, or ongoing fundraising. Reliance on a particular fundraising strand can leave you vulnerable if that money disappears. So a varied fundraising strategy is most effective. Visit the Involve website to find out more. For fundraiser advice email email@example.com or call 01344 383 523.
We are here to support and offer guidance in:
- Developing your funding strategy and or business plan
- Exploring and identifying suitable grant/trust /funding sources
- Offering guidance for fundraising ideas/projects
- Supporting groups to explore ways to save money internally
Involve also offer a Critical Friend service. This is your opportunity to have your draft bid or tender assessed by one of our experts.
