Secondary HAF provision

HAF programme for young people aged 11 to 16

Activities for young people

Supervised activities will run over the school holidays for young people aged 11 to 16 years:

  • Spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once an activity is full you can request for your young person to be added to the waiting list.
  • Due to health and safety and safeguarding requirements, if your young person books onto these activities, they must remain with the group and follow the supervisor's instructions at all times.
  • Young people cannot bring additional friends or family members to the sessions.
  • Lunch will be included.

How to find out about activities

There will be a range of activities running during each of the main school holidays. To see details of what is running on the next school holiday, please log in to the Holiday Activities system with your voucher. This is issued approximately 1 month before each main school holiday,  Easter, Summer and Christmas.

Help with transport

Group transport will be provided for offsite activities. Please answer the question about transport on the booking form.

Any other help with transport would be considered in extreme cases. This will be assessed on a case-by case basis and cannot be guaranteed. Email HAF@wokingham.gov.uk for more information.

Unable to attend booked session

If your child or young person is unable to attend the funded sessions you have booked, please cancel your booking via the booking system. Unattended sessions still incur charges to the HAF Team. These spaces could be offered to other children and young people. Future bookings may be cancelled if your child or young person misses sessions without giving notice.
