Activities for young people

Supervised activities will run over the school holidays for young people aged 11 to 16 years:

  • Spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once an activity is full you can request for your young person to be added to the waiting list.
  • Due to health and safety and safeguarding requirements, if your young person books onto these activities, they must remain with the group and follow the supervisor's instructions at all times.
  • Young people cannot bring additional friends or family members to the sessions.
  • Lunch will be included.

How to find out about activities

There will be a range of activities running during each of the main school holidays. To see details of what is running on the next school holiday, please log in to the Holiday Activities system with your voucher. This is issued approximately 1 month before each main school holiday,  Easter, Summer and Christmas.

Help with transport

Group transport will be provided for offsite activities. Please email HAF@wokingham.gov.uk if your young person needs help to get to/from the activities.

If your young person is unable to attend a booked session

Unattended activities still incur charges. The HAF Team loses a lot of money on wasted spaces that could be offered to other young people.

Cancelling your booking

If your young person is unable to attend the funded activities you have booked, please cancel your booking via the booking system or by email to: haf@wokingham.gov.uk
