Children in Care Council
Giving a voice to care-experienced children and young people
What is the Children in Care Council?
We are a group of individuals who are growing up in care and we represent all Wokingham Borough care-experienced children and young people.
We aim to give everyone a voice around issues that matter to them and make sure your voice is heard by those making the decisions.

We meet up every month in person. We’d love to have you come along and join our group.

Wokingham's Pledge
Wokingham's Pledge is a list of promises to their children in care to make sure they are good corporate parents. Our Pledge was written by the Children in Care Council in consultation with other Children in Care and Care Leavers.
The Care Leavers' Offer
In the local offer you will find information about services and support that we will provide for you as a Care Leaver. It will help you to understand what support there is and who to go to for help and advice.
