As part of any local plan process, it is important to have a clear understanding of the land which is potentially available for different types of development.

Call for sites 2026

To support the Local Plan 2045 we are currently running a call for sites where landowners, developers and other interested parties are invited to suggest sites they believe have potential for development. The call for sites is running until 23:59 on Tuesday 1 September 2026. Please visit our dedicated Engage consultation webpage for further details and to promote a site.

It is important to note that suggesting a site does not mean that it will be assessed as suitable for development, be allocated for development, or given planning permission.
