Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request copies of the following information for the period 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025, broken down by year. This request relates to Wokingham Borough Council. Where possible, please provide the data broken down year by year.
All Class E planning applications
1. How many Class E planning applications were received each year between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2025?
2. Of those, how many were approved?
3. Of those, how many were rejected?
4. For each year, how many were rejected on the basis of an Environmental Impact Assessment?
Class E planning applications relating to hospitality uses (restaurants, cafés, takeaways and similar food and drink establishments)
5. How many Class E planning applications relating to hospitality uses were received each year between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2025?
6. Of those, how many were approved?
7. Of those, how many were rejected?
8. For each year, how many were rejected on the basis of an Environmental Impact Assessment?
We do not hold this data. Our Planning department can supply a list of all Change Of Use applications and the requestor can research the specific data themselves via our Planning Portal https://www.wokingham.gov.uk/planning. Please advise if you would like a list provided.
