I am writing to request information held by Wokingham Borough Council relating to the netball courts at Chalfont Park, Earley (RG6 5HQ). For the period 1 January 2023 to 31 May 2026, I would be grateful if you could provide the following information:

1. Booking data
a) The number of bookings made for the netball courts, broken down by month (or another reporting period if monthly data is not readily available): N/A
b) The total number of hours booked per month, if recorded: N/A
c) Copies of any existing utilisation reports relating to the courts: N/A

2. Court availability
a) The normal opening hours, or hours during which the courts are available to book: N/A
b) Details of any seasonal variations, changes to opening hours or restrictions on bookings during the requested period: N/A

3. Court closures
a) Details of any periods during which the courts were unavailable to book or unavailable for public use, together with the reason where recorded (for example, maintenance, repairs, weather-related closures or other operational reasons).
The netball courts at Chalfont Park were taken out of use prior to 2020 following safety concerns arising from significant root growth beneath the court surface. The resulting surface defects rendered the courts unsuitable for use, and they were subsequently closed to the public on health and safety grounds.
