This is a freedom of information request regarding the proportion of blue badges issued for vehicles that are a) adapted for disabled use or b) for company or commercial use.
1. Please provide me with the proportion of blue badges issued for each of those categories for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. If the council does not collect vehicle data as part of the blue badge application process, please confirm this.
a) We don’t have information, we don’t know who drives adapted vehicles.
b) We have information from 2021 to 2026 in terms of the number of Organisational Badges issued.
2021: 8 Badges
2022: 10 badges
2023: 8 Badges
2024: 7 Badges
2025: 11 Badges
2026: 4 Badges to date
These are predominantly adapted vehicles to qualify for an organisational badge.
