Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting data regarding Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) and residential dwelling stock within your council's administrative area. Please provide the following information, correct as of the date you process this request. I would be grateful if you could state the date for which the data is provided in your response.

1. The total number of HMOs within the council's boundary.
We do not report on this. We have been advised by our Environmental Health that we do not hold the data in a form that can easily be obtained without exceeding the cost of compliance (Section 12). The data is contained across multiple system in both Civica and spreadsheets. In Civica it has been spread across 3 different systems: Miscellaneous, Service Requests and Inspections and we understand that the data is not recorded as completely as maybe required for running reports.

2. The total number of residential dwellings within the council's boundary.
We have been advised by our Environmental Health that this information is already available using the following link: Dwelling stock estimates in England https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/dwelling-stock-estimates-in-england-2025

3. A list of all Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) within the council's boundary, with a corresponding count of the number of HMOs located within each LSOA.
We do not report on this. We have been advised by our Environmental Health that we do not hold the data in a form that can easily be obtained without exceeding the cost of compliance (Section 12). The data is contained across multiple system in both Civica and spreadsheets. In Civica it has been spread across 3 different systems: Miscellaneous, Service Requests and Inspections and we understand that the data is not recorded as completely as maybe required for running reports.

4. A list of all LSOAs within the council's boundary, with a corresponding count of the total number of residential dwellings within each LSOA.
We have been advised by our Environmental Health that this information is already available on ONS Census dataset – number of dwellings https://www.ons.gov.uk/datasets/RM204/editions/2021/versions/1
These sources provide the national totals and the small-area (LSOA) breakdown required.
