20mph limit
See notes
1. Please provide the total number of roads or zones subject to 20mph speed limits within your area as of:
a) 1 January 2023
b) 1 January 2024
c) 1 January 2025
d) 1 January 2026
Whilst the Council maintains records of Traffic Regulation Orders, it does not maintain a database that records speed limits or zones per road or section of road. To provide the requested information would require the Council to identify and manually assess every road and road extent to provide the data.
The Council estimates that this exercise would exceed the appropriate time limit (18 hours) prescribed by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. You may wish to refine your request by limiting it to a specific geographical area which may enable the Council to respond within the appropriate limit.
