Statement of accounts 2023 - update
The external audit of the draft statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2023 has not
yet been completed by our external auditors, EY LLP, due to the complex set of factors
contributing to audit delays across the sector. This situation is allowed for by Regulation 10,
paragraph (2a) of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015. Therefore, this notification explains, as per paragraph (2a), that we are not yet able to publish our audited 2022/23 final statement of
accounts in line with deadline of 30 September 2023, as per paragraph (1).
The Audit Committee will consider the results of the 2022/23 audit, after which we will publish the final audited accounts.
The draft accounts for 2022/23 are available in the list of documents below.
Statement of accounts 2022 - update
The audit of the financial accounts for 2021/22 is currently underway. The audited set of financial accounts will be published on the website once completed and available.
Statement of accounts 2021 - update
The statement of accounts for 2020/21 was signed off by the Council's auditors, Ernst and Young LLP on Friday 21 July 2023.
A copy of the final accounts for 2020 to 2021 is available to download in the list of documents at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, you can request a copy of the final accounts by emailing business.services@wokingham.gov.uk
