South Wokingham Distributor Road

A new South Wokingham Distributor Road will be built as part of the South Wokingham major development, to create access for the new homes and minimise the impact of the increase in traffic on nearby residential roads.

Phase 1

The first phase, William Heelas Way in the Montague Park development, has already been built. 

Phase 2

The second phase will extend William Heelas Way across the railway line and connect to Waterloo Road. This phase has planning permission and construction is underway. 

Phases 3 and 4

The third and fourth phases will pick up from Waterloo Road and continue to new junctions at Easthampstead Road and Finchampstead Road, connecting to the existing Tesco roundabout.
