Each of our libraries has different facilities, and different opening times. To find the information for your local library including opening times, and what's available, please click the button below and select a library from the list.

Lower Earley Library will be closed on Thursday 2 May as the site will be used as a Polling Station on this day. Customers are welcome to visit our other branches or call Wokingham Library on 0118 978 1368.

All libraries will be closed on Good Friday, 29th March; Easter Sunday, 31st March; and Easter Monday, 1st April.

They will also be closed on the bank holidays of Monday 6th May, and Monday 27th May.

Items can be reserved or renewed online.

How to join a library

You can join our libraries if you live, work or study in Wokingham borough, or are a member of any other library.

There is no charge for joining a library. You will need your library card at each visit, to borrow books and other resources from the library and also to access public computers.

• Fill in an application form at your nearest library
• Produce identification showing your name and current address such as driving licence, bank statement with bank card or utility bill less than 3 months old 
• Under 18s need a signature from a parent or guardian
