Reading Road resurfacing works

Scam warning

There has been a report of people wearing yellow jackets, claiming to be associated with the Reading Road works, and advising residents that they need to pay for underpinning, or other work, to their property. This is a scam.

No council worker will knock on your door and offer to undertake any work. Nor will we ask you to hand over any money. If you are approached by such a person, report them to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
