Current project status

The Ashridge Farm section of the North Wokingham Distributor Road (NWDR) will connect Bell Foundry Lane with the section constructed by Crest Nicholson as part of the Kentwood Farm phase 2 development.

We held a drop in session in early 2019 at our offices, to answer questions about the Ashridge Farm Project prior to the planning application being submitted in March 2019.

This final section of the road has now received planning permission as of 20 August 2019. Ref:191010.

Planning application

The planning application was submitted in March 2019 and planning permission has now been approved as of 20 August 2019. Ref:191010.

Following the submission of the planning application, work on detailed design has commenced. The proposal will include the crossing of the Ashridge stream at the eastern boundary and the linking of the alignment with Kentwood Farm phase 2.

Construction of the scheme is planned to start in Autumn 2020 with completion in Autumn 2021.
