Wokingham Borough Council and the Wokingham Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Forum believes tackling racism matters and will go beyond showing symbolic support to instead take real action in the Borough.

In light of the international outcry over the killing of George Floyd, the council is carrying out a comprehensive survey of black and minority ethnic people's experiences of life in the borough as a starting point to tackling the blight of racism head on.

The Tackling Racism Matters survey invites all people to share their experiences of life in the borough and detail any specific racist incidents.

Help to build our action plan

We will use your stories to co-create, with representatives of the BAME community and the Wokingham BME Forum, a comprehensive action plan that will provide real change where necessary.
