Details of consultation

Under the current planning system, the Government could seek to impose more than 800 new houses a year on Wokingham Borough. The council believes that figure is too high and is asking residents if they agree.

We have accommodated significant housing development in recent years and we do have a need for more, but we believe the Government’s target goes beyond what is actually needed locally.

Please take part in our Housing Target Consultation to tell us if you think the Government target is too high.
