Housing standards and regulation

Wokingham Borough Council's senior person responsible for making sure we meet the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) Standards is Matt Pope, Executive Director for Children, Adults and Health. He is supported by Darren Levvy, our Interim Service Director for Housing.

This means making sure our services adhere to these key responsibilities:

• Ensuring services operate with resident engagement and that all residents are treated fairly and with respect
• Providing oversight and assurance to ensure requirements are met and that suitable reporting and scrutiny is occuring
• Ensuring our policies, procedures and housing services are operating in line with the Consumer Standards and the Rent Standard
• Acting as a key contact with the Regulator of Social Housing, responding to inspections, enquiries, and providing information when required
