Coronavirus - Tiers 2 and 3 business rates grant form

Use the form below to apply for a business grant if your business was open between 2 December and 18 December 2020 but was severely impacted by Covid-19 Tier 2 and 3 restrictions.

This form should only be completed by businesses who pay business rates directly to Wokingham Borough Council and have a business rate account reference number.

As a minimum, a statement of circumstances will be required and ideally supported by additional documentation including details of contracts, lost or cancelled booking diaries/work schedules, or cancelled customer bookings, along with a recent bank  statement to confirm the details of the business bank account the grant is requested to be paid in to.

Before you can proceed, you must confirm the following:

This award shall comply with the EU law on State Aid on the basis that, including this award, I the applicant shall not receive more than €800,000 in total of aid within any given 3-year period under Section 3.1 of the European Commission’s Temporary Framework for State Aid including the COVID-19 Temporary Framework scheme for the UK. For aid for uncovered fixed costs under Section 3.12 of the Temporary Framework, the maximum level of aid is €3 million.
