Vehicle fleet maintenance and / or vehicle glass replacement

1. Please provide the name, job title, email address, and phone number of the person(s) responsible for procurement or contracts for vehicle fleet maintenance and / or vehicle glass replacement?
The council’s ‘fleet’ is maintained externally by Northgate fleet management, the point of contact at WBC is Amelia Merrett - Fleet and Finance Officer, Community Transport Unit Email: Amelia.merrett@wokingham.gov.uk
2. Please can you advise the number of cars, LCV's and HGV's on your fleet?
The council have 16 Owned vehicles and 3 leased vehicles. A mix of minibuses, vans/transits, and 4x4s/Pickups/tractor (Countryside Services). The council do not have any HGVs.
3. Please also provide the annual volume of glass items that you; replace or repair, and also the number of ADAS recalibrations that you undertake each year?
Any glass items that may need replacing would be picked up during regular vehicle inspections undertaken by Northgate. We do not have this information however, if there was any damage to glass it would either be replaced by our insurance policy or the repair arranged through Northgate.
The council do not have any vehicles with ADAS. [assuming that is Advanced Driver Assistance Systems]
4. Please provide the £ value that you spent on vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration over the past 12 months?
As above.
5. Please can you advise when you will be looking to go to tender for vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration services?
We do not have any plans to go out to tender for glass replacement, repair and recalibration services.
