Holiday, Activities and Food programme

What is the Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) programme

If your child is in receipt of benefit related free school meals (FSM) then you can register your interest in our Holiday, Activities, and Food (HAF) programme. If your child is not in receipt of FSM but you think you may be eligible, please check via the Free School Meals page.

This programme is funded by the Department of Education (DfE) and provides free activities with a healthy meal to children and young people aged 4-16 years in receipt of benefit related free school meals (or referred by a professional who works with your family).

Over 800 children attended the Holiday, Activities and Food programme during 2021. Activities ranged from Childcare Activity Clubs, Oakwood Climbing Centre, JAC stables, Circus Skills, Orienteering, Sports, Arts and Crafts, Sensory based Activities for SEND children and Community Events.

If you'd like to register your child / children on the HAF programme - there is provision to register for up to 6 children but scroll to the bottom if you're registering for less. Press submit when you've finished entering details. Someone from the HAF Team will process your registration and email you with your child/children’s unique codes for booking onto activities.

Visit the Guidelines and Registration page to continue.

Please do not register again, if you have already received a unique code for your child from WBC. The code you received will remain with your child throughout the HAF programme, providing they are eligible to benefit related FSM.

Once we have received your details we'll be in contact with further information.
