Thematic Maps
Thematic maps are interactive maps that are colour coded depending on the data behind them e.g. areas of high population are dark red, whereas areas of low population are pale red.
You may currently view population, housing and ethnicity data from the 2001 census. Select one of the options below to open thematic maps. We hope to increase the amount of data viewable soon.

| Population and housing | Population (number of residents) and housing (number of houses) per lower super output area (an area boundary designed for use in the 2001 census). |
| Ethnicity | Ethnicity of all Borough residents per super output area (an area boundary designed for use in the 2001 census). |
| Indices of Multiple Deprivation | Indices of Multiple Deprivation data ranks all 32,482 lower super output areas in England according to a number of deprivation indcators. For more information on Indices of Multiple Deprivation, visit the Department for Communities and Local Government website. |
