Permanent Traffic Order consultations

A Traffic Regulation Order is a legal document that makes restrictions on the public highway (such as waiting restrictions or speed limits) legally enforceable.

This process includes a statutory 21 day consultation period. The proposals will be advertised in the local press. Residents and businesses who are directly affected will receive a plan and covering letter explaining the proposal. Notices will also be placed on street in suitable locations.
