Use the Pay and Display machine, at the car park, to pay for your ticket. The machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins. Notes are not accepted. Change is not given. Blue badge holders can park in any of our car parks for free, up to the maximum time limit stated for that car park.
The face of the ticket must be clearly displayed through the windscreen. Any tickets purchased prior to 8am will be valid from 8am for the duration of the time purchased. For instance a 1 hour ticket purchased at 7:45am will be valid from 8am until 9am. Tickets purchased after 6pm will be valid from 8am on the following day that charges apply.
Pay to park using your mobile (scheme extended)
You can pay for parking using your mobile phone thanks to a scheme between us and Metric Mobile (our ticket machine supplier). Visit the Metric Mobile website for full details of the scheme. The scheme was originally piloted in 3 car parks - Headley Road in Woodley and Rose Street and Denmark Street in Wokingham for six months. This is being extended for another six months as well as being trialled at four more sites.
Motorists parking at Easthampstead Road (East), The Paddocks, Station Road all in Wokingham and Winnersh Triangle Railway Station, will also be able to use the scheme which starts on April 2 2012.
To use the service, call 0118 907 6767 quoting the parking reference number (which can be found on pay and display machines and signs around the car park) and confirm your length of stay. You can extend your parking time by mobile phone without having to return to your car. You can even get a text message reminder when parking is about to expire. For full details of the scheme please download the leaflet below.
You can continue to use the existing coin operated machines or pay for parking on your mobile phone using a credit or debit card.
