Wokingham Borough Travel Plan

Our initial move towards ‘green’ travel began in May 1998 with:

 

 

Since then and from the time when this Travel Plan report was written further steps have been taken to encourage people to use their cars less for work journeys and travelling to work. This includes encouraging peope to travel by more sustainable modes such as public transport, cycling, walking and car sharing. Better facilities have also been introduced linked to travel incentives, and publicised widely.
