Train services

New rail services proposal

Airtrack is a major scheme proposal for new rail services to run between Reading and Heathrow Airport. There will also be services between the airport and Guildford and London Waterloo. 

No new track is proposed in the Wokingham area but the key issue is in the increase in frequency of services along the Reading to Waterloo line. Whilst this will improve services for railway users, the implications for the road network have not yet been fully estabished. We are doing more work on this and will publish the results when these are known.

Airtrack have recently completed a major consultation.
