Where to send your appeal to

Appeals will only be considered if made in writing to the address, above, or email to car.parks@wokingham.gov.uk, quoting the notice number.

If you have any enquiries about penalty charges telephone 0118 974 6318 or email car.parks@wokingham.gov.uk.

What will happen if I don't pay or appeal?

If we have not received payment or an appeal then we will obtain details of the registered keeper of the vehicle through the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency - DVLA.

A letter will then be sent to the keeper requesting payment of the full debt or details of the driver at the time. It is an offence to fail to provide information to identify the driver at the time. If driver details are supplied then a letter will be sent to the driver.

Should payment still not be made then the details will be forwarded to our debt collection agency.

In some cases we may consider legal action for non payment. It is an offence to fail to pay an Excess or Standard Charge and the penalty on conviction may be up to £1,000.
