Loddon Bridge Park and Ride

The Loddon Bridge Park and Ride Park is signposted from the A329M and A329 and is next to Showcase Cinema.

Park and Ride buses go into central Reading, every 15 minutes each way all day on Mondays to Saturdays.

There is no Sunday service.

Parking

The Park and Ride gates, barriers and bollards are security-controlled between 6.45am and 7.15pm daily by Vinci Park UK who provide car parking security for Wokingham Borough Council during the normal operating hours of the Park and Ride service.

At all other times the Park and Ride gates, barriers and bollards are locked closed - between the hours of 7.15pm and 6.45am daily and the car park reverts back to the Cinema who is the site owner.  This area of parking will only become available during these hours at the total discretion of the site owner.

If for any reason customers of the park and ride miss the last bus or return to the site after 7.15pm they will need to contact the cinema directly or contact the Cinema Security Staff on 0118 978 8766 so that arrangements can be made for the release of their vehicle.  Currently there is no charge for this but customers will need to be patient whilst the Cinema's Security Staff make the necessary arrangements for this to happen.

Peak fares - Monday to Friday from start of service to noon with return anytime:

• Adult return £4

• Child return £1.80

• Family of five return (max three adults) after 9.30am and before noon £6.50

Off-peak fares - Monday to Friday from noon, Saturdays and after 9.30am on weekdays in school holidays:

• Adult return £3

• Child return £1.50

• Family of five return (max three adults) £5

School holidays are: April 1-16, 2010; May 31-June 4, 2010; July 23-September 3, 2010

Fastsaver - for use at anytime:

• Fastsaver 12 for six return trips £21 (gives 6 return trips at £3.50 each)

• Fastsaver 26 for 13 return trips £45.50 (gives 13 return trips at £3.50 each)

• Fastsaver 40 for 20 return trips £69.95 (gives 20 return trips at £3.50 each)

These can be purchased at the Travel Centre, Broad Street Mall, Reading between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.  Please note that unfortunately tickets can no longer be paid for via the Paypoint system.

Madejski Park and Ride

If you're coming into Reading by car from the south or west, you can use the park and ride from Madejski Stadium. It is located just off J11 on the M4 and full details of the service can be found below.
