Our tennis facilities are unmanned and require a code to gain access to the courts. Users must satisfy themselves that the facilities are safe for play before a session begins and report any damage or faults at the facility to Wokingham Direct. Tennis courts are not floodlit.

Tennis courts

Tennis courts are available at the following locations:

• Cantley Park, Wokingham, RG40 5QG. 9 courts.
• Chestnut Park, Wokingham, RG41 3HW. 3 courts.
• East Park Farm, Charvil, RG10 9TY. 2 courts.   

There is also a multi unit games area which has tennis courts marked out but these are not set up with nets or for use by season ticket holders. These are run by the Leisure Centre on site and you will need to contact them directly.

• Chalfont Park, Earley, RG6 5GA.  

Season Tickets

With a season ticket you can use Cantley Park, East Park Farm or Chestnut Park at any time during the period the season ticket is valid without having to book. This is a first come first served when using the courts.

There are certain dates and times which have been pre-booked for other sports or events in the year (Example – Wokingham Half Marathon at Cantley Park). At these times, courts will be unavailable to all except the hirer (and participants); this normally applies to only one venue leaving the other two still accessible. Season ticket holders will be notified of these throughout the season via email.  

Ad-hoc and pay and play

As we no longer have dedicated groundsmen on site we are unable to supply an ad-hoc booking service this season at any of our locations. There are currently no plans of operating a pay and play scheme during the summer. Sports Developement run a variety of courses during the school holidays for 4-16 year olds which includes tennis and information can be located here and here. We will review the pay and play scheme, and ad-hoc bookings each year before the new season begins.   

Application forms

We offer 2 types of season ticket; one that starts from 1st April, the other running from 1 July onwards. Both of these end on the 31 March. The relevant application form will be supplied below and this will be updated around a week before the new period begins.
