What is SHINEPlus?

SHINEPlus is a sports and physical activity programme for adults with a long term health condition and the families and carers of people that have a condition.

The programme focuses on the following conditions:

• Learning and physical disability
• Mental health conditions
• Substance misuse
• Neurological conditions

• Families and carers of affected people

To sign up for the SHINEPlus scheme, you can either be referred by your GP, other health professional or support worker or you can refer yourself to the scheme.  Please complete the booking form below to join Activise or to sign up for the Leisure Pass scheme.

The SHINE Plus programme includes Nordic Walking,  Boccia and Bowls, Pilates, Aquacise, Rebound Therapy and Trampolining. For details of times, venues and prices, see the programme below.

Leisure Pass scheme

SHINEPlus members are eligible to join the Leisure Pass scheme. This is a one year leisure pass that entitles people to attend the gym and swimming pool at a reduced rate, 9.30am to 4.30pm 7 days a week.  You can attend one of the following; St Crispin's, Loddon Valley or Carnival Pool.  Please see the document below for further details.
