Keeping active
Being active means building about 30 minutes of activity into your day, on most days of the week. If you want to take it, being fit is the next step which means being energetically active regularly and for longer.
The benefits of staying active include:
- Social interaction
- Strengthened muscles, joints and bones which improves mobility and balance
- More energy
- Sleeping better

Exercise schemes are available to help stay active.
