Blue Badge parking permits

The Blue European Badge Scheme provides parking concessions for people with mobility problems, and for registered blind people, who travel either as drivers or passengers.

Disability Equality Scheme (DES)

The DES enables Wokingham Borough Council to tackle discrimination in a practical way by making sure that opportunities for disabled people are actively promoted, and real positive changes are made for employees and service users, to prevent discrimination taking place.

Wokingham Ability Partnership (WAP)

Wokingham Ability Partnership aims to raise the profile of services for people with physical and sensory disabilities, as well as develop and improve these services in line with the needs of local people.

Wokingham Area Access Group (WAAG)

WAAG is a small group of individuals who have a common interest in the improvement of accessibilty to shops and services for the disabled and young mothers in the Wokingham Borough.
