Bracknell & Wokingham College are offering a one-year Access to Teacher Training Course for Teaching Assistants who would like to go on to study for a B.Ed. or B.A. followed by a one year's teacher training course.
Access courses are designed for mature students returning to study after a gap. The Access Course concentrates on building confidence for returning students with elements such as Study Skills and Preparation for Higher Education.
The course is free to 19-24 year-olds but older students have to pay tuition fees of £400. Candidates are expected to attend college 09.30-15.00 2/3 days per week or two evenings per week, it may be possible to combine day and evening study.
