This training has been developed in recognition of the contribution that support staff make to the educational experience of pupils. As roles of staff at all levels expand this inevitably demands access to training and development to ensure staff achieve their full potential and fit into their new and emerging roles.

The Training Development Agency is responsble for the Skills4schools website. The website is aimed at School Support Staff, e.g. Teaching Assistants, Secretaries, Administrators, Catering and Site Management staff and has information on training qualifications and career development.
