The direct work element of this project with Shirley Clarke is now concluded. Cascading has taken place, with two teachers from each of the schools listed above able to support other schools in their Network with formative assessment development. Networks will have planned how this cascade might work. The Wokingham project with Shirley Clarke is written up on the Shirley Clarke website, and accessed as one of her Learning Teams. The participating schools continue to be happy to support other schools in their Cluster on assessment processes.
Formative Assessment Conference
The November 2007 Formative Assessment Conference at Easthampstead Park was a huge success, and the video of Shirley Clarke's address to delegates was sent to each school. The Learning Team teachers made presentations to delegates on aspects of formative assessment and in so doing, made some fabulous resources that are available for use in PDF form as indicated below.
The work in the Borough has now moved through a similar year focussing on the use of the Assessing Pupil Progress materials.
